The Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology within the 91Ƶ, according to the order № 22-10 "On the establishment of the Institute of Law and Psychology" from 14.02.2011 began its work as the Department of Special Legal disciplines, and by order № 108-10 of 13.07.2011 was renamed the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure.
Since its inception, the department is headed by Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksiy Humin.
In December 2015, by the Order of the Rector of the 91Ƶ the staff of the department was awarded a diploma for significant achievements in educational and scientific work for the 2014-2015 academic year.
