Project objective

The main objective ofthe ENGENSEC project istocreate new Master’s program inarea ofITSecurity asaresponse oncurrent and emerging cybersecurity threats byeducating the next generation experts inthis area, thus supporting development ofe-based economics, life and society inpartner countries.
The ENGENSEC proposal addressed tochallenges ininformation society development concerned Cyber Security and privacy ine-oriented world. This project introduce advanced Master’s curriculum inCyber Security toteach the next generation experts, based onprevious best practices indouble degree implementation amongEU universities, ECTS and mutual degree recognition.

Project activities:

  1. Defining framework ofjoint Master’s program
  2. Cloud-based security lab development
  3. Development ofthe joint course curriculum
  4. Develop new and further develop existing courses
  5. Teacher training
  6. Effective quality control ensured and project management
  7. Dissemination ofnew Master’s programs benefits
  8. Give pilot courses inasummer school
  9. Prepare for participating Universities tolaunching new Master’s program

Expected results:

  1. Prepare well qualified professionals inemerging areas ofCyber Security byoffering recognized Double degree Master’s program.
  2. Develop set courses onemerging areas ofCyber Security addressed toDigital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Web Security and Malware Analysis.
  3. Develop acloud-based laboratory environment, which can beused remote from partner University.
  4. Establish Life Long Learning framework byoffering set oftraining courses for specialized public and government entities focused oncomputer crime and computer Investigation.
  5. Harmonize Bachelor programs tounify courses objectives, curriculum content, skills and knowledge requirements.
  6. Define structure ofthe new Master’s program, create and adopt courses recognized byall consortium partners.
  7. Enable student and academic staff mobility for exchanging ofbest practices toraise the level ofinternational cooperation inarea ofCyber Security.
