Знак логотипу— стилізоване зображення фасаду головного корпусу Львівської політехніки, оздоблене вигнутою стрічкою златинським написом «Litteris etArtibus», щовперекладі означає «Наукам іМистецтвам». Уверхній частині ідентифікатора зазначено рік заснування університету (1816р.).
