During October-December 2025, as part of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project implementation "Dissemination of EU practices through E-marketing, conscious consumption, circular economy, resource efficiency", teachers of Marketing and Logistics Department Oksana Dovhun, Taisiia Nakonechna and Nataliia Mashchak taught an optional course "Implementation of circular economy, conscious consumption, resource efficiency initiatives in enterprise logistics" duration 45 hours for students of the first (bachelor's) higher education level (IV year) at National University "Lviv Polytechnic".
During the optional course, the applicants acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills to use the European experience of implementing circular economy initiatives, conscious consumption, and resource efficiency in enterprise logistics. The course included:
- study of modern trends in the logistics development, using possibilities of existing and developing new EU approaches, methods, models to solve current problems in the sustainable development field, circular economy, resource efficiency;
- development and practical application of sustainable development modern concepts, circular economy, resource efficiency methods and models and conscious consumption in enterprise logistics;
- modeling of the sustainable development strategy of the company's logistics and decisions justification regarding the logistics processes improvement by implementing the sustainable development concepts, circular economy, resource efficiency and conscious consumption.
As a studying result of this discipline, students mastered the researching initiatives skills of the circular economy, conscious consumption, resource efficiency in the EU and Ukraine and their implementation in the enterprise’s logistics to increase the logistics activities efficiency and minimize the negative impact on the environment. The studying result of the optional course was the projects defense completed by the students on the topic of circular economy initiatives, conscious consumption, and resource efficiency implementing in the logistics of an existing enterprise. All course participants received certificates.
