During 2019, the English language master’s program inthe specialty 191— Architecture and Urban Planning (3semesters) starts at91Ƶ.

The educational-professional program isbased onwell-known positions and results ofmodern research onthe theory ofarchitecture and urban planning, architectural design, landscape architecture, regional planning, and focuses ontopical specialization, within which further professional and scientific careers are possible.

Specialists ofspecialty 191— Architecture and urban planning are used inthe field ofdesigning buildings and structures, designing ofobjects oflandscape architecture, reconstruction and renovation ofarchitectural monuments, inthe field ofthe protection ofthe historical environment; inthe field ofdesign— urban, architectural, graphic and webdesign; inthe field ofstate and municipal administration inthe field ofarchitecture and urban planning.

The Department ofUrban Planning and Design concluded bilateral agreements and conducted fruitful scientific cooperation with such foreign scientific institutionsas:

  • — Department ofUrban Studies, Regional Planning and Management ofthe Building Architectural Faculty. Inthe framework ofthe cooperation, student workshops were held and scientific research results were published inthe international science and technology journal “Space &Form”: scientific journal (Index Copernicus International, Baz Tech).
  • The Vienna Technical University (), within the framework ofthe cooperation, there isanacademic exchange ofstudents and teachers, numerous workshops inLviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Crimean cities. From 2014—
  • Institute for the Construction ofCzęstochowa Polytechnic, Poland (. Research papers were published inthe collection “Zeszyty naukowe Politechniki Częstochowskiej”.

During 2018-2019 Department ofUrban Planning and Design concluded also three Inter-institutional agreements inthe framework ofERASMUS+ Key Action 1— Mobility for learners and staff— Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility with next universities:

  • West Pomeranian University ofTechnology, (Szczecin, Poland);
  • Brandenburg University ofTechnology Cottbus— Senftenberg, Faculty for Architecture, (Germany);
  • (Turkey).
