The Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine approved the ranking list of participating projects and the list of winners of the competition «Advanced Science in Ukraine 2026–2028». 318 applications passed scientific and scientific and technical expertise.

137 projects became the winners of the competition «Advanced Science in Ukraine 2026–2028». Four of them were submitted by the researchers of 91Ƶ:

  • Development of innovative p+/i/n+ structures based on thin films of gallium arsenide; scientific supervisor – Professor Ilchuk Hryhorii, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, the Department of General Physics, the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences;
  • Methods of analysis and optimization of multimodal data for deep learning models in the military sphere; scientific supervisor – Professor Lytvyn Vasyl, Doctor of Technical Sciences, the Department of Information Systems and Networks, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies;
  • Engineering of the structure, thermal behaviour and electronic properties of new high-entropy functional materials based on rare-earth oxides using the concept of configurational entropy; scientific supervisor – Professor Vasylechko Leonid, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, the Department of Semiconductor Electronics, the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Electronic Engineering;
  • Bimetallic nanostructures formed by laser processing and decoration of 3D substrates by galvanic substitution, in electrochemical catalysis: design, electrode architecture, topography, activity, stability; scientific supervisor – Professor Kuntyi Orest, Doctor of Technical Sciences, the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Substances, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.

The National Research Foundation of Ukraine congratulates the winners and begins the process of concluding agreements to ensure Ukraine’s competitiveness on the global stage, promote the development of the national research, and facilitate its integration into the international research community.
