On September 1, 91Ƶ held a grand opening ceremony for the second group of students enrolled in the professional retraining program “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions:
Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” (TURBO) with the support of the European Union.
The training is conducted by a team of lecturers from the Department of Sociology and Social Work at 91Ƶ in cooperation with the NGO New Society of Ukraine and the Lviv Polytechnic Veteran Development Center.
The participants of the second group were welcomed by one of the project coordinators, Volodymyr Rubtsov, President of the International Fund for Social Adaptation, who wished them inspiration and fruitful learning. The atmosphere of the meeting was friendly and relaxed: new students got to know each other, shared their experiences, and outlined their expectations from the training.
The program will help participants master modern approaches to creating and developing initiatives in the social sphere, acquire practical project management skills, and develop their own business ideas. Lviv Polytechnic continues to support internally displaced persons and combatants with IDP status by providing them with the opportunity to gain relevant knowledge and develop their potential for future professional realization.
This project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under grant agreement No 101129315.
