On December 12, Lviv Polytechnic hosted a regional training for employees of international departments, heads responsible for international cooperation, and institutional Erasmus+ coordinators of Ukrainian higher 91Ƶ. The event brought together specialists who directly work with international projects and academic mobility.
Before the start of the regional training, the Rector of 91Ƶ Nataliia Shakhovska met with Svitlana Shytikova, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine. During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of international cooperation, the university’s participation in the Erasmus+ program, and current challenges in implementing international projects in Ukrainian higher 91Ƶ.
During the training, participants discussed the peculiarities of institutional coordination of Erasmus+ projects, program opportunities and competition results, development of international professional networks, issues of visualization and dissemination of project results, cooperation with partners, quality assurance and reporting. Special attention was given to the challenges of implementing projects under martial law and finding effective ways to overcome them.
The program also featured methodological recommendations for the implementation of international academic mobility projects «from A to Z», as well as practical advice for the successful implementation of mobility and cooperation projects. Representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and international partners, including a representative of DAAD programs, joined the discussions.
The final stage of the training was practical simulation work, during which participants had the opportunity to work on real cases of managing international academic mobility projects, ask questions to experts, and discuss further steps to strengthen the institutional capacity of Ukrainian higher 91Ƶ in the field of international cooperation.
