International activity

The Department of Marketing and Logistics is actively developing cooperation with foreign universities and international enterprises.

Students and lecturers of the department annually participate in grant projects, academic exchanges, and international summer schools, and enhance their knowledge through diverse international experiences.

International Educational Activities

Lecturers and students of the department actively participate in international educational projects and internships, particularly under the Erasmus+ program. Within the framework of international mobility, students and lecturers visit Poznan University of Technology (Poznań, Poland), Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (Lemgo, Germany), ISM University of Management and Economics (Vilnius, Lithuania), Bochum University of Applied Sciences (Bochum, Germany), University of Seville (Seville, Spain), and others.

Every year, the best master’s students of the department in the specialities “Marketing” and “Logistics” study under the double degree program at the partner university in Poland – AGH University of Science and Technology (Kraków). In addition, master’s students have the opportunity to study under a new double degree program at Poznan University of Technology (Poznań).

International Projects:

  1. From September 2019 to September 2022, the Department of Marketing and Logistics implemented the project “Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Dissemination of European Experience” within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module program (610856-EPP-1-2019-1-UAEPPJMO-MODULE).

Project objectives:

  • Dissemination of European experience in implementing best logistics practices.
  • Providing the target audience with professional knowledge on European practices in supply chain management.
  • Promoting the European approach to ensuring the integration of science, business, and government.

During the project implementation, lecturers from the project team conducted classes in the discipline “Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Dissemination of European Experience” for students of various specialities. Various events were also held, including the annual Logistics Day, an annual section with abstracts at the student research and practical conference, two thematic Summer Schools, an international research and practical conference in 2020, and several excursions for school and university students to enterprises sharing best European practices.

  1. From 2023 to 2025, the department is implementing a project under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module program — “Dissemination of EU practices through e-marketing, conscious consumption, circular economy, resource efficiency” (acronym: E-Marketing).

Project team: Associate Professor Oksana Dovhun, Associate Professor Natadiya Mashchak, and Associate Professor Taisia Nakonechna.

Project objectives:

  • Dissemination and implementation of best European practices and programs in conscious consumption.
  • Raising awareness about the circular economy, conscious consumption, resource-efficient and clean production, and the single market for “green” products.
  • Providing the target audience with professional knowledge of the main principles of e-marketing as an effective tool for promoting conscious consumption.
  • Promoting European approaches to integrating science, business, and government.

Activities:

  • Course “E-Marketing of Conscious Consumption: Dissemination of EU Practices”;
  • Annual student scientific and technical conferences and, in 2024, an international scientific and practical conference “Marketing and Logistics in the Management System”;
  • Annual promotional events: “Eco Weekend”, “Earth Day”, “White Monday”;
  • “Green School” event for primary school students (twice during the project);
  • Organisation and conduct of educational and informative excursions to leading companies.

International research activities of the Department of Marketing and Logistics include:

  • International research internships for lecturers;
  • Participation in international conferences;
  • Visits of foreign scholars and leading experts for experience exchange;
  • Research publications in leading international journals;
  • Annual summer schools for students of the department and the institute;
  • Participation in international competitions.
