As part of the project “EU Global Responsible Leadership: Climate Change, Environmental Protection, and Humanitarian Aid” (EU_LEAD), the final of the video competition “My European Ukraine” took place on June 24, 2025, with 13 teams (more than 120 students from 91Ƶ) participating. The aim of the event was to raise awareness in Ukrainian society about the role of the EU in the climate, humanitarian, and environmental spheres, to promote EU values in Ukraine and around the world, and to highlight the advantages and opportunities of European integration. The participants demonstrated their vision of Ukraine's European integration future, the role and place of the EU in the development of the Ukrainian state, including its post-war recovery, and outlined the prospects for Ukraine's rapprochement with the EU.
The topics that aroused the greatest interest among students were those devoted to EU leadership in combating climate change, environmental protection, humanitarian aid, Ukraine's future in the EU, Ukrainians' vision of European integration, European opportunities for young people, Ukraine's achievements and obstacles on the path to the EU, and European values. Some of the videos revealed the content of current trends in European integration and European support programs, such as “Lviv - European Youth Capital 2025” and “Ukraine - a technological hub and center of EU defense innovation.” The students demonstrated a clear vision of Ukraine's European future, and their original works became an excellent promotion of the opportunities for Ukraine on the path to European integration. The students' involvement in this project allowed them to develop skills such as teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and project management.
